Natalie Norton Photography

While reading my Digital Photography School blog feed this morning, I came across an article called "The Human Side of Photography." It's a how-to for natural looking portraits, which is great and I highly recommend reading it. Then I discovered that Natalie Norton, the author, is from Hawaii! Specifically, Oa'hu! More specifically, the North Shore which is not far from where my husband lives and where I will be joining him in about four weeks! On one hand I am intimidated by all the talented photographers out in Hawaii and on the other hand I am tempted to email her and ask if she needs an assistant who will work cheap and just wants to bask in the glow of her photo love. Go to her website and look at her beautiful photos, particularly the pregnancy shoots in her more recent entry. I think it's a hard thing to capture, especially when Mom-to-be is probably really uncomfortable with her body, but she gets that glow just right.

Certainly! Looking forward to getting out there--it's cold enough here to freeze my equipment!
